In a time of desperation, I cried out to God to open my eyes to see Him.  He responded, “Unless a man is born again, you cannot see the Kingdom of Heaven.” 

This scripture found in John 3:3 impacted my heart to such a strong degree that I knew I needed that spiritual experience. On September 7, 1983, I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. In 1993 the Lord spoke, “What can be shaken will be shaken and the only thing remaining will be the purposes of God.”  This started an eight-year wilderness journey that brought healing, deliverance, character, and abundant life in Him.  In March 2002, God directed me to leave a full-time job and trust Him as Elijah did in 1 Kings 17, at the Brook Cherith, for supernatural provision.  This was a foundation story for me during those years as I watched God provide supernaturally.  The struggles and victories of those years have forged a message of trusting Him in the hard places.  In October 2019 through July 2020, I had three encounters with God to step out in faith and begin my own ministry called Arise Shine Kingdom Ministries: ASK Ministry.

God has called me to equip the body of Christ for a great outpouring of His Spirit and to teach and preach the word of God with a prophetic emphasis.

Years of Trusted Ministry Experience

The Harvest is Ripe:  2016 - 2019.  I was asked to be the Director of Evangelism in the local church I attended for 15 years.  My focus was equipping others to reach the harvest through prophetic evangelism.  In October 2019 God transitioned me to begin my own ministry.  

Practicing His Presence:  2006 - Present.  This school of the Prophets was founded by Prophet Judith Green.  I have assisted Judith in these prophetic gatherings to equip and activate those called to be prophets as well as how to experience God’s presence.  I have also been the administrative arm of this ministry. 

Teaching & Prophecy:  Through the years I have accepted invitations to speak locally in Alaska, as well as, Mexico and Ireland.   I also received invitations to prophesy and minister to local leaders. 

Alaska’s Prophetic War Council:  2015 - Present.  I have been a part of this ministry, founded in 2015, by Robert & Eleanor Roehl.  It is a branch of the Kingdom Alliance Network.  The Council is comprised of seasoned Apostolic/Prophetic Warriors.  It is created to strategically pray, prophesy, declare and decree the Word of the Lord over regions, territories, the State of Alaska, the US, and the nations of the earth. 

Karen has also traveled to minister in Scotland, Ireland, Hungary, China, Thailand, Hong Kong, Mexico, as well as, Washington DC and North Carolina.
